plant-based nutrition for health, longevity, & environmental sustainability.

WHO AM I?

My name is Isabella and I have an affinity for all things related to food, health, and the environment. I am currently a Dietetic Intern at the University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital working on my 1200 hours of supervised practice I need in order to become an RDN. I also completed my Bachelor of Science in Public Health & Nutrition with a concentration in Environmental Sustainability from Keene State College.

I created CoolBeans Nutrition to share my nutritional knowledge, recipes, lifestyle tips, and sustainable practices. I hope to inspire others in making healthier lifestyle changes that promote health for our bodies and our planet by placing a heavy reliance on all things plants. I hope you enjoy and feel free to reach out with any questions!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN
TO BE PLANT-BASED?

Following a plant-based lifestyle refers to someone who bases their diet on predominantly whole, unprocessed plants. This way of eating has been proven to be nutritionally adequate,  can prevent and reverse chronic disease, and is environmentally sustainable.
